BeoLab 4:

Tools required: T20 driver, Phillips driver, spudger or trim tool, optional heat gun

Remove all plugs and all 3 speaker frets, being careful not to break their clips. Unscrew the 6 T20 screws holding the pyramid of the cabinet to the base. Use a spudger or a tool inserted into the slot near the rear corner of the cabinet to pry the cabinet from the base.

Unplug the 2 connectors from the board, unscrew the 6 Phillips screws, and remove the board

It is not usually necessary to renew the gasket when re-installing the cabinet.


BeoLab 4000:

Tools required: T10 driver

Remove all plugs and the speaker fret to reveal 2 two T10 screws which hold the front aluminium profile. Remove 10 more T10 screws to remove the plastic baffle. Release the speaker drivers from their spring-loaded spade connectors.

Unplug the 2 connectors from the board, unscrew the 6 Phillips screws, and remove the board
