For speakers before serial 12764542, transfer the old crossover module onto the new amplifier board

Difficulty: slightly fiddly (~20-30 minutes)

Tools required: T10 driver

Remove all plugs and lie the speaker on a flat surface. Slide the fret upwards to remove.

Undo the two screws holding the socket module, and release the 3 plugs.

Undo the 10 screws holding the metal heat sink. The two smaller screws are the second row from the top.

Lift out the heat sink, which may take some force as it's secured by an adhesive gasket.

Unplug the speaker connector, and remove the screws holding the outgoing board. Swop the crossover module from the outgoing part, if necessary

It's not usually necessary to renew the gaskets upon re-assembly. When re-installing the fret, place it about 1cm above the base, and slide into position while pushing both sides
