CD clamper & fascia

The aluminium finisher was originally fitted only to the B&O 75th anniversary model made in 1996, then finally to all models from around 1999

Somewhat fiddly (~15-30 minutes)

Tools required: T10 screwdriver

Open the CD clamper. Remove all cables, stands, and brackets from the set other than the active antenna, if fitted.

Remove the door by pulling it firmly away from its carrier.

Undo the 4 T10/slotted machine screws in the four corners of the rear of the set, and lift the outer edge of each fret up before sliding outwards for removal.

Undo the 4 T10 screws holding the CD clamper frame in position. Push the clamper closed about half way and gently liberate the clamper arm from the gearbox.

Remove the plastic finisher above the clamper to access the pins holding it in place.
