Be careful of degraded adhesive on the doors, and brittle plastic on the covers and threaded screw holes.

Unplug the system while the doors are open. The doors and black covers can each be removed by pulling from their outside edges; slide a trim tool under the sides of the covers to find and push any recalcitrant clips out of the way.
