Tools required:
Trim removal tool or spudger, T10 screwdriver, Phillips driver.

Be careful of degraded adhesive on the doors, and brittle plastic on the cover clips.

Unplug the system while the doors are open. The doors and black covers are each removed by pulling firmly from their outside edges; slide the trim tool under the sides of the covers to find and push any recalcitrant clips out of the way.

Remove the two silver machine screws on the bottom of the set, and the seven screws holding the rear cover: the system can now be put into its service position by undoing the four screws holding the black steel frame in position, noting that the rightmost has a bonding wire and a lock washer.

Gently lift the rear frame out before lying it down; witness the position of the cable loom at the bottom of the set, as cables can pinch upon assembly. The radio board is removed with three final screws.
